The sun had only just crept over the horizon at 05:46 on the morning of 10 September 2003. QJ 7049 and it's train were bathed in golden light as they entered the yard at Chabuga. Although it looks like a double header, QJ 7049 was doing all the work. The second loco was Baiqi's QJ 7136 returning from works in light steam with its rods safely stowed in the tender.
