QJ 2680 worked a long train of timber up the bank from Liushu towards the summit north of Nancha on 26 February 1989, assisted by QJ 283 piloting and QJ 1987 banking.
Timber was the main source of traffic on the Wuyiling branch at the time, brought down from the hills by at least 7 narrow gauge railways penetrating tens of km into the wooded hills to the east and west of the branch.
