Local passenger services between Ceska Trebova and Pardubice were operated by class 163 electrics on three coach rakes. These duties may seem a waste of the 163s' 3480 kW power but rapid acceleration and fast running between stations were necessary to keep time on this busy main line.
163.081 was slowing for the curves at Parnik after racing away from Dlouha Trebova with Os5005, the 06:36 from Pardubice, on 11 June 2006.
