I'd had an idea that Olten station, with its overall roof, might be a good place to photograph trains. In reality it wasn't particularly good with most trains having the loco at the wrong end and two ugly sets of concrete poles carrying multiple electrical feeders across the top of the roof.
Photographing an ICN got round the locos mainly being at the north end of trains. Class leader 500.000 and 500.006 drew to a halt on ICN530, the 14:48 St.Gallen - Genève-Aéroport on 7 September 2012.
