QJ 7112 and QJ 6882 had just emerged from Tunnel 2 in the Erdi Valley with an eastbound coal train on 28 February 2003.
Tunnel 2 was just about the only place on the west side of the Pass where incessant north-westerly wind wouldn't foul up a morning shot. As a result, we did it to death on the first couple of trips then spent the next seven years trying to avoid going back there. It wasn't a bad shot though.
