Friday 25 May was a busy day at Kandersteg. SBB's 11614 and 11297 threaded their way between a host of trains, all waiting to head south. On the left, the first portion of a china clay train, hauled by a pair of DB 185s, waited to couple up to the second portion. To the right of the SBB train, a set of empty car carriers waited to go south to Iselle to begin the day's service and to the right of that was another SBB Re10/10 on a southbound container train.
