GWR's 9-car Class 802s tended to stay east of the Tamar, leaving Penzance services to pairs of 5-car sets, only one of which worked west of Plymouth. That wasn't the case on 18 September 2019 when 9-car 802.106 approached Westbury with 1A79, the 06:47 from Penzance to Paddington. Without wraparound yellow ends, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a 9-car set and two 5-cars, let alone the difference between between 800s and 802s. They all look pretty much the same.
