The Feltham and Wokingham resignalling project was nearing completion by 3 February 2024 when the manually operated point leading to Wokingham Down Siding was swapped for a motorised replacement. A nine day engineering occupation starting the following weekend would see the replacement of the crossover and double junction seen in the distance, the transfer of signalling to Basingstoke and the closure of Wokingham Signalbox after 91 years of service. Beyond the junction an unidentified DB Class 66 can be seen waiting with an engineer's train.
